Oxfordshire Sport and Physical Activity are seeking sponsors for the 10th Oxfordshire Sports Awards, which recognise, celebrate and honour amazing sporting and physical activity achievements in our Community. There are categories remaining up for grabs and various sponsor packages available as well as programme advertising or the opportunity to attend the awards evening itself.
Or do you know a person, team, club, coach and more that should be put forward for nomination? Nominations open on the 1st Sept.
The Oxfordshire Sports Awards are not for profit and only go ahead each year due to sponsorship and ticket sales. We want this year’s Awards Ceremony to be the best yet. It is an annual event hosted by the Oxfordshire Sport and Physical Activity, supported by our Official Broadcast Partner, BBC Oxford and Official Media Partner, Oxford Mail.
The Awards incorporate nominations from across Oxfordshire, raising the profile of sport and physical activity and creating a unified celebration of sporting excellence. The event has grown in popularity, stature and success over the years and on Friday 27th November 2015 the 10th Oxfordshire Sports Awards will take place at the Kassam Stadium, Oxford.
You’ve probably heard the statistics, 50% of UK business fail within the first 3 years. We could give this extraordinarily high figure the benefit of the doubt, a person may decide being self-employed isn’t for them, or the company may have ventured into a collaboration, however whichever way we spin this figure, it is too high and its not a club we want to join.
As Marketers, we often see one vital activity that is sadly often missed. Research & Insight. In fact, in some cases it isn’t just missed, it is ignored, which can lead to risky business decisions, costly targeting exercises, the competition sneaking up on you and a failing product or business.
The good news is this can easily be rectified.

What’s Ticking Today features offers within four key sectors; Eats, Sleeps, Seats and Treats. All offers for the day ahead go live at midnight and have to be PRE-PURCHASED and USED by that same day.

The codes are purchased on our site and need to be used the same day – for example, let’s say a local shopping centre decided to create a flash offer of a £50 discount code that could be redeemed at every – or some – participating retail outlet – the code could give the user 20% purchases made at all the stores included in the deal.
